This Privacy Policy explains what information Proglly Private Limited ("Proglly", "we", "us") collects when you use proglly.com, our mobile app and related services (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Proglly, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

Who We Are

Proglly is run by Proglly Private Limited, a company registered in India, with its registered office at 86-9-8/5, Vihanga Residency, Tilak Road, Rajahmundry, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh 533101, India.

Proglly is a visual learning app. It turns a topic or chapter into five formats: visual cards, a diagram, an interactive diagram, a mindmap and a quiz. It also offers exam practice. It is built for school students, mainly Class 5 to 12.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
Your learning details. The class, board and subjects you tell us, and a learning profile Proglly builds from your activity, such as what you find easy and what you tend to get wrong, so that later material fits you.
What you do in Proglly. The topics you ask for, the material made for you, your saved notes, your quiz answers and scores, your exam practice answers and the feedback on them, and your streaks and progress.
What you upload. Notes, documents and photos of pages you upload, and the text read from them.
Friends and sharing. The friends you add, invites and challenges you send or receive, your place on leaderboards, and notes you choose to share by link.
Payment records. If you buy a plan: which plan, the amount, the date and the payment reference from Razorpay. Your card, bank and UPI details go to Razorpay and your bank. We do not receive or store them.
Messages you send us. Support requests, feedback and reviews.
Device and technical data. Device type, operating system, browser, country, time zone, how you first reached Proglly, and a push notification token if you turn notifications on.
Optional contact details. Your mobile number and your school, college or coaching centre, if you choose to add them to your profile. Your mobile number helps keep your account secure and, only if you opt in, lets us send occasional SMS offers. Both are optional and never needed to use the Service.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and run the Service, and to make the learning material you ask for
To fit material to your class, board and learning profile
To apply the limits of your plan, take payments and email your receipts
To send reminders and updates: a reminder before a paid plan ends, revision reminders, a weekly summary, and messages about friends and challenges
To answer support requests and complaints
To understand how Proglly is used and to improve it
To prevent misuse and to meet our legal duties
To send occasional SMS offers, only if you opt in on your profile
To prepare offers for your school or institution, only from institution details you chose to share

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

AI-Made Content

The material in Proglly is made by AI models that we reach through our platform provider, Base44. To make it, the topic you ask for, the class and board it is for, relevant parts of your learning profile, and the text of anything you upload for that topic are sent to the AI provider.

Ready topics. When you ask for a new topic by typing it, the material made for it may be added to our library of ready topics, so that other learners studying the same topic can open it. It carries no information about you. Material made from your own uploads, or shaped by your own learning profile, stays in your account and is never shown to other learners.

AI-made content can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts against your textbook or with a teacher.

Notifications and Emails

The app asks for your permission before sending push notifications. They are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google, and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
We email receipts and messages about your plan to the address on your account. These are part of the Service.
To stop other emails, such as the weekly summary, write to support@proglly.com.

Advertising

Proglly does not show advertisements, and we have no plans to introduce them. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and tell users before any ads appear.

Plans and Payments

Proglly has three plans: Free, Plus and Pro. To apply the limits of your plan we keep a count of what you have used in each day, week and month. Payments are handled by Razorpay. We keep a record of each payment so that we can show your plan, send your receipt, answer questions and meet our accounting duties.

Cookies and Device Storage

Proglly uses cookies and storage on your device to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control these in your browser settings. Turning them off may stop parts of Proglly from working.

Storage and Security

Your information is kept on secure cloud servers. Our safeguards include:

Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data sent to and from Proglly
Sign-in through Google, so we never hold your password
Limits on who inside Proglly can see your information
Regular review of our systems

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been taken over, write to support@proglly.com straight away.

Children's Privacy

Proglly is made for school students, so many of our learners are under 18. Indian law treats anyone under 18 as a child for personal data. A learner under 18 should use Proglly only with the permission of a parent or guardian, as our Terms of Service require.

We collect only what we need to provide the Service
We show no ads to any learner, and we never use a child's information for advertising
We do not sell children's personal information or share it for marketing
A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time
Where the law of another country gives younger children extra protection, such as COPPA in the United States or the UK Children's Code, we limit what we collect from them to what is reasonably necessary

If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern about your child's use of Proglly, or want to see, correct or delete their information, email support@proglly.com and we will respond promptly.

Your Rights

You can ask us to:

Show you the information we hold about you
Correct information that is wrong or out of date
Delete your account and its information. You can also do this yourself from your profile
Give you a copy of your information in a common format
Stop a use of your information that you object to, or withdraw a consent you gave, such as notifications or SMS offers

To use any of these rights, email support@proglly.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information from our systems, including the copy kept for analysis. We keep payment records for as long as tax and company law require. Ready topics made from topics you typed stay in our library, because they hold no information about you.

Complaints and Grievance Officer

If something has gone wrong and our support team has not put it right, you can write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.
