This Privacy Policy explains how Proglly Private Limited ("Proglly", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (proglly.com), our Android and iOS apps, and related services (together, the "Service").

By using Proglly, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who We Are

Proglly is operated by Proglly Private Limited, a company registered in India, with its registered office at 86-9-8/5, Vihanga Residency, Tilak Road, Rajahmundry, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh 533101, India.

Proglly is an AI-powered visual learning platform that turns any topic a student types in into interactive learning material — visual cards, diagrams, mindmaps, and quizzes. It is designed for students from around upper primary school age through university, and is used by learners globally.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Usage data — topics you search, formats you generate, quiz results, and general app activity, so we can provide and improve the Service.
• Device and technical data — device type, operating system, and a push notification token (if you enable notifications).
• Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Razorpay. Proglly does not receive or store your card details directly.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To generate the learning content you request, using AI
• To send you push notifications you've opted into, such as learning reminders
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan
• To understand usage patterns and improve Proglly
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

AI-Generated Content

The learning content Proglly generates — visual cards, diagrams, mindmaps, and quizzes — is created using AI models accessed through our platform provider, Base44. Depending on the request, this may route to different third-party AI providers. The topic or prompt you submit is sent to the relevant AI provider to generate content. AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete; we encourage students to verify important facts against their coursework or a teacher.

Push Notifications

The Proglly app may send push notifications for learning reminders and activity updates, powered by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google.

• You will be asked to grant permission before we send any notifications
• You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings
• We store your FCM token to deliver notifications — this token does not personally identify you beyond your Proglly account
• We do not send marketing or promotional notifications without your explicit consent

Advertising

Proglly does not display advertisements, and we do not currently have plans to introduce them. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and notify users before any ads are introduced.

Proglly relies on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Subscription Plans

Proglly offers three plans: Free, Plus, and Pro. All plans include access to the same core features; paid plans increase your usage limits and unlock select additional features, such as PDF export. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Razorpay — Proglly does not store your payment card details.

Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some functionality of the website.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure authentication via Google OAuth 2.0
• Access controls limiting who can view your data internally
• Regular review of our infrastructure

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@proglly.com.

Children's Privacy

Proglly is used by students across a wide age range, from upper primary school through university. We recognise that this includes some users under the age of 13, and we take extra care with data belonging to younger students.

• We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service — primarily the name, email, and profile picture provided through Google Sign-In, and usage data related to learning activity
• We do not use data from users under 13 for advertising, and Proglly does not display ads to any user
• We do not knowingly sell or share children's personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
• Where required by law (such as COPPA in the United States or the UK Children's Code), we take steps to limit data collection from younger users to what is reasonably necessary, and support parental review, correction, or deletion of a child's data on request

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to certain types of data processing
• Withdraw consent — opt out of push notifications at any time

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or accounting purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Proglly after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
